Raising above the clouds
This month Valley of the Dolls move Jurassic Park video we took guys from our youth outreach, “Change the World” on a 30 km, 10 hour hike in the mountains.
It was raining hard as we got out of the train in a small town at the foot of the mount Paraska. The weather man was right about rain. But it did not stop us as we slowly started climbing the mount, entering right into the cloud. We had to go through the woods to get to the top of a ridge. In many places the snow was still there. From time to time one of us would fall through the snow, breaking the small icy crust. It was about three feet deep, but some places were 10-12 feet deep.
In about two hours we were above the cloud that was so generously raining upon people in the town below. The rest of the way to the mount Paraska was mostly without the rain.
Dema
When Dema came to church on Sunday, some people recognized him and could not believe he was in church. We did an Outreach Rock Concert in September of 2009. Among all the audience everyone could not help but to notice a wild guy jumping up and down without a tee-shirt with his girl-friend sitting on his shoulders dressed in the same manner. And it was cold and it rained some. It was Dema. Sometimes we can look at someone and think that he or she would be the last one to respond to God. But how wrong we can be! See more photos here…
